We at the CDSRA would like to congradulate everyone who was appointed to referee, assess and play in the Outdoor 2006 Provincial and National competitions held in Edmonton in September.

This year the CDSRA was given the opportunity to sell 50/50 tickets for the Calgary Hitmen 2006 season opener. On September 22, the CDSRA had a small but effective crew come out and sell tickets. The CDSRA has accumulated a variety of merchandise for our members over the years. Some of it recently has been given out at the beginning of the year along with paid membership fees. However, we have a growing inventory and would like to take this opportunity to remind you what we have, and to remind you that Christmas is coming and that the referee on your list may want some CDSRA merchandise. 30 HOUR SOCCER MARATHON

The event takes place at the S.E. Indoor Soccer Centre November 3rd and 4th, starting at 4pm on Friday, with back to back games until 10pm Saturday night. All the funds that are being raised go to benefit the Foothills Hospital cancer unit through the Calgary Health Trust. REFEREE AFFAIRS COMMITTEE This is just a reminder sent at the request of the Referee Affairs Committee. The last refresher will be held on October 16th and the last conversion course on the 21st. If and when additional courses are added we will let you know. Also if you are looking to take a refresher or conversion and there is not one available then please let us know so we can assess the need for more courses.
